The Veikkausliiga returns, which means it’s spring – although looking out of my window, you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s October in the UK.

Currently 16th in the OLBG Lower Leagues competition, but am also doing reasonably well in French competition. Not doing so well in the Championship and Scandinavian sections: the Championship can be almost impossible to get right and the Scandi leagues have only just started so there are bound to be some surprises in those.

Am also doing OK in baseball, but as that’s not football I won’t be mentioning that here. That may change when there are fewer winter leagues to cover.

I’d also be tempted to combine the home wins and the under 2.5 goals bets into a Lucky 15. BetVictor currently has that priced at 9.54 and because the prices are below evens, insurance lays will be relatively cheap.

A very good day yesterday. 6 wins from 8 bets and I’m now up to 5th in the ‘Lower Leagues’ competition on OLBG. Today’s results will be crucial for a top ten finish, so fingers crossed!

Exeter are the longshot in this group – although they’re playing Plymouth, which is a derby match, Plymouth are doing badly this season.

Exeter and Cardiff both lost, Gillingham were leading at Fleetwood but the game finished all square.

Notes:

The implication is that Charlton/Bolton will finish 1-1. Could be worth a small punt.
